THE VERSAILLES FIRE DEPARTMENT with assistance from 17 other Woodford and non-Woodford County first responder agencies spent over 13 hours battling the fire at Wilson’s Pool Room last Thursday, July 13. Constructed in 1800, the Pool Room shares a wall with another building, also constructed in 1800. Pool Room owner Ben Wilson lost one of his dogs and his home.
